Conferencing

Telephone conferencing is a very useful feature for board meetings, distributed team sessions, and many other important applications when everybody can not participate in person. For many years, conferencing is providing outstanding productivity benefits to various organizations in all industries. It is, perhaps, the highest impact collaboration mechanism currently in use after e-mail.

Conference calls are used by nearly all public corporations to report their quarterly results, usually also allowing questions from stock analysts. The company officer will read a report on how the company did that quarter, and then the call may be opened up for questions from analysts.

Whenever conferencing is a desired feature, a high-quality speakerphone is the key to making the most out of this great function. We recommend the Panasonic KX-TS730, a recent addition to the most comprehensive telecom product line.

Key Features

  • Full digital duplex conferencing
  • Eight ultra-sensitive microphones
  • Hi-Fi sound quality
  • 120-minute recording
  • 3.5mm Audio Out jack
  • Caller ID display and memory
  • Phone book for 100 numbers

The KX-TS730 speakerphone integrates with the KX-TDA series systems over the analog SLT pair, which means that it can have its own extension or be connected in parallel to any digital telephone with an XDP port. The Panasonic KX-TDA series supports conference calling with up to 8 parties in any combination of COs and extensions. The call initiator may leave the conference, and the other participants can continue talking.
